The first half of the book aims to familiarize readers with the concepts Michaels is trying to bring home, the origins of this school of thought, and the principles which govern the universe. The author chronicles the different ages of the universe and lays the foundation for building spiritualism and a higher consciousness. In the latter part of the book, Michaels offers suggestions for how we can apply the principles learned to our own lives. We are shown that each of our paths is unique, and that we should "let go and let God" in order to be steered in the right direction. In addition, there is a wealth of affirmations, scriptures, quotes, and techniques for applying the theorems that are covered.

I enjoyed reading this book, as I have never really been exposed to this way of thinking. I am always intrigued to hear about different spiritual experiences, and I think this book is a great place to start for those who are struggling with what they believe, yet it is also an excellent tool for even the experienced spiritualist. I walked away with a better understanding of the ideas behind metaphysics and a platter full of food for thought.

This book encapsulates a wide variety of information and presents it in an easily understood format. It serves as a splendid Introduction to the subject matter and also doubles as a workbook.

The alternatives for the reader would be either five or six books or else an epic 'tome' that would challenge the brain cells to comprehend.

Reverend June Michael is to be commended for this work of Love and Light. She has made quantum leaps in her spiritual growth and I look forward eagerly to her next book.
