This CD takes me on an emotional journey!

I like every song on this CD!! Every song is a favorite when I'm in that mood. "Maybe I Dream Too Much" reminds you of when you were in love with someone, but the timing just wasn't right. "My Love" talks about feeling that love, and needing that reassurance that it will last. "Thinking Of You" is a bona fide "jam" talking about love that happened too fast. "In The Night" is a bellyrubber that entices your lover to adjourn to the bedroom."Vision" is a song about someone trying to pull the wool over your eyes, but you wake up just in time. "Where Did Lisa Go?" is a funky, trippy groove that speaks of an old flame that has lost their way. "But It's Love" talks about the search for peace of mind ending with God. This song could have been sung by either Marvin Gaye or Brian McKnight. I can't listen to "Home" without crying. I don't think you'll be able to either. BUY THIS ONE!!!!

What an awesome debut CD! Every song has something different to offer. David's souful performance will draw the listener in to feel every note. Combine his vocal talent with the phenomenal Bass grooves and it is nothing short of magic. Track 5, entitled "Vision" is very intense, with a driving rhythm that you can't help but feel. The Bass solo explodes with his distinctve style, leaving you wanting to hear more. "In the Night" is sheer romance, perfect for breaking out the champagne and candle light and "Thinking of You" has such a great hook, you won't be able to stop singing along. "But It's Love" is reminiscent of the Marvin Gaye classic "What's goin on", with it's message on what is missing in the world today. The final track, "Home", is an emotionally charged ballad, guaranteed to bring a tear to your eye.
I definately encourage everyone to check this one out. You will not be dissapointed.

Songs about you and me is a soulful collection of smooth sounds ideal for any occassion. Soft enough for a romantic candlelight dinner, but saucy enough for downtown driving. David's hypnotic voice will take control of your soul and leave you begging for more. Your ears will surrender to his style. His talent for the bass might even surpass his voice, but together they melt into one pefect union of sound.

I have just finished listening to David's newest CD and as usual I'm absolutely blown away. This one is a little softer than previous as it has a more romantic feel with lots of love songs. As usual, David really shines on bass guitar and vocals. It is a great CD for setting the romantic mood if you know what I mean. I got two of them, one for me and one for a friend. PS. if you ever get a chance to check out David in a live concert you will be amazed. He truly is a "master of the bass universe"

I listened to this CD over and over because it holds so much by way of music forms that meld together and work well. Great smooth jazz and romantic moods set by songs like "Maybe I Dream to Much" "My Love" and "In the Night"; funky bass groves (Vision), "Thinking of You" hits home on some personal issues and makes me want to dance. "But It's Love" is a great inspirational song that make you want more for the world. "Home" will put a tear in your eye. Factor in the fact that David plays several instruments on this CD, sings, and writes or co-writes many of the songs and you have to be grateful for such a wonderful talent. The boy is BAD and the CD just helps to highlight it! AWESOME, GREAT MUSIC!! Got to go...have to put my CD in and get to listening!!! Buy one now and join me in a great celebration of music!!! They just don't make enough of this any more.Cheryl Morris
