wonder if her hand is still on his *** and it is obivious his foot is "still on the gas"...cuz his music is still "driving" and makes u want to move and sing...heard he will be at celebrity for the millenium...think i'll take my kids...think amazon.com can scrounge up some of the old stuff..."sweet naomi" "red ball texas flier" etc...can't sit still when jerry's singin'...

One of the best things about being an announcer on AOR (Album Oriented Rock) radio stations was the constant exposure to great music, through the distribution of promotional albums. "Saving Grace" and "Take a Chance" were two early Jerry Riopelle collections which deserved airplay, but didn't get much outside his native Southwestern U.S. Alas, his early record company (ABC, I believe) didn't give him enough of its promotional budget to make him a contender. I am a huge fan of his music, and have always believed he got a raw deal. It's great to have him back with such a solid effort as "Hush Money." Buy it.

Jerry Riopelle's music is unique; the tunes, the voice, the lyrics. I lived on his music in the late 70's and early 80's Since I now listen to my music on CDs, I've missed Jerry's music; I would put on my old LPs once in a while just to hear him again. I was thrilled to find his newer CD on Amazon.Com, and bought it. I am not disappointed. It's every bit as good as his older stuff, and just plain great music for any decade.
