To fully appreciate this video, you must watch "The Amazing Bone" and "Sylvester and the Magic Pebble", both Caldecott Medal winners and both narrated by John Lithgow. Both stories are animated and portrayed in a magical way. The Newbery book winning story of "Doctor DeSoto" (which also had an Academy Award nomination) is a wonderful story to watch if you have any qualms about going to a dentist (haven't we ALL? ) And, then lastly, "Brave Irene" - a special story about a brave little girl, facing a fierce storm, to help her ill mother - very touching.
